Why Music Therapy?

Music therapy provides a supportive and engaging space for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to explore, express, and connect through music. Every session is designed to highlight each person’s strengths while addressing individualized goals across emotional, social, physical, and cognitive domains.

Our music therapists use a variety of evidence-based techniques, such as singing, instrument play, movement, and improvisation, to foster meaningful progress and engagement. Sessions are tailored to each client’s developmental level, communication style, and sensory preferences, creating opportunities for success and connection.
