Halloween is just around the corner! Celebrate with your clients, discussing costumes, candy, and more with this free songwriting template to the tune of “Bad Guy” by Billie Eilish.
“Bad Guy” is the perfect song to use this season with it being so popular and having a haunting beat. It’s good to use for all ages - helping music therapy clients or music education students share about their preferences, what they’re excited about, and how they celebrate Halloween.

I love the chance to change up the music I use in sessions whenever holidays roll around. This “Guess the Song Title” has been a popular product in our store, so I made a couple of Halloween versions! This picture sheet has 12 Halloween themed pop songs, perfect for teens and young adults!
You could facilitate this by: having clients guess the song before hearing, playing the song and having the clients identify which box is being played, or cutting out each box from the sheets & having clients match the song title with the picture!
I would take it a step further by discussing the themes in each song to address mental health topics. Many of the songs aren’t specifically “about Halloween,” so there’s a lot of room to transition this lyric analysis or songwriting!

This provides opportunity to go deeper with lyric analysis on themes like mental health and social situations.
